Flow Rack PPS (Free Location)

Features
A variety of information can be displayed according to the location size, including product name, quantity, product images, video, and audio, allowing anyone to perform standardized operations.
Ideal for the sites with products of various shapes, non-uniform storage container sizes, and frequent changes in the product itself or the container placement position
The camera reads the container width at the edge of the container and the barcode that contains the product information to identify what is in which container.
If a container changes location, the camera reads the barcode on the container to recognize the new location
A sensor covering the entire flow rack detects the position of the operator’s hand, and if the hand is placed in a different area than indicated, the Poka-Yoke function is triggered and a warning sound and red light alert the operator to the error
Adoption of an ultra-short focus projector ensures that the worker is not overshadowed by the projection
Issues Solutions
Would like to employ Pick to Light System to improve productivity and eliminate errors at a site where products are frequently changed and containers of various sizes are placed on flow racks. The Flow Rack PPS can project images of instructions according to various products and container sizes by using the automatic recognition function of container size and product information.
Frequency of Location change is high and it is difficult to employ Pick to Light system. Location and layout changes can be automatically recognized, making it ideal for sites that handle a variety of products.

Spotlight Type (Wide area)

Features
A single spotlight unit can illuminate anywhere in a 3m x 3m area
Only the location of the spotlight is displayed, so it is effective when the picking quantity is fixed and only the location needs to be specified
Poka-yoke function can be detected over the entire area using a laser sensor unit.
By selecting a simple system, costs can be kept down and the system is easy to introduce.

3D Projection Picking System [3D-PPS] with 3D Sensor

For containers on floor

Picking is done from carts and sorted into containers of different heights. Both picking and sorting are alerted by light and error sounds if a hand is placed in the wrong location.

For Flow Rack

Unlike conventional two-dimensional sensors, depth and depth can be sensed, enabling 3D sensor measurement even at different heights as shown above.

Features
State-of-the-art picking system that can also measure depth.
The use of 3D sensors solves the problems that 2D cannot handle.
Ultimate simple structure.
The 3D sensor is simply installed on the top of the system.
Easy initial setup and maintenance.
The ability to measure depth enables automatic measurement of the distance to the object.
There are no complicated settings and maintenance is easy.
High flexibility
Compared to 2D, 3D processing allows for more precise analysis and detailed settings.
Can be used on a shelf or flat surface, and poka yoke settings can be made even for sloped input locations.
Various Information Displays.
Information can be displayed according to the location size, including product name, quantity, product image, video, and sound, allowing anyone to perform standardized operations.
Highly Accurate Poka Yoke Setting
A 3D sensor is used to trigger the poka-yoke function if a hand is placed in a different position than indicated, and a warning sound and red light notify the operator of the error.
Issues Solutions
Complicated system for poka-yoke countermeasures In the past, multiple sensors and cameras had to be installed on the object to be detected. Mounting the 3D sensor on top simplifies initial handling and maintenance.
Packing Style and Storage style are not uniformed. 3D-PPS uses a projector projection and 3D sensor to flexibly handle flat storage, flow racks, and other storage configurations at sites that do not have a standardized cargo form or storage configuration. It is ideal for sites that handle a variety of products.
Would like to build highly efficient system by combining with material handling equipment. Combination with material handling equipment such as conveyors is also possible, and work efficiency can be improved by linking with the equipment. See video below.
